"When I race or go out with my long-legged friends I want to be right up there with them. I don’t want to get outpaced by the skinny roadie guys on the climbs and I certainly don’t want to get stuck behind them when it comes to the good stuff – the singletrack, the technical, slippery, rough singletrack. I want to be able to pass all those guys with their seat up their asses, holding on for dear life, and get into my groove going down. I’ll watch my bike’s weight but I’m not going to waste a good ride by nursing a wafery bike on the interesting bits of trail. I want a bike that is a lively, race ready weapon that has a supple feel for epic cross-country rides. Sure, I’ll wear Lycra but I’ll still slip on some baggy shorts over the top, and I’m probably going to be closing down the after party."

Specs

Light, All Mountain

The Kamui (pronounced Kam-way) is the lightest frame in our lineup but we still left some DNA from our more rugged bikes so it can accommodate stout forks. The Kamui is ready for a broad variety of technical singletrack and weighs in at a svelte 4.5lbs, which still qualifies it as race light. The frames are made in British Columbia in limited productions so contact us for availability and color options.

Features

Tubing

Making modern chromoly frames is challenging when most of the tubes available on the market are from an era of mountain biking long past. After several years of frame production we reached the point where we could design and produce our own custom tubing for the majority of our frame tubes. This contributes to the unique look of many of our frames but more importantly allows us to configure our bikes exactly as we want for each design.

ISCG mounts

ISCG tabs are not as necessary for all bikes as they once were but many of our bikes feature our CNC’d 2piece design which is light, and can be removed when not used.
