Tachyon Jacket

$250 CAD

A gravity-oriented jacket, or one to have stashed for when it goes sideways on those all-day epics. The Tachyon protects you when MN (mother nature) gets mean, and the 4-way stretch leaves your perfect form unhindered.

You're probably not going to want to pedal all day in this Jacket, but hammering out laps when everyone has stayed home, or keeping this in your pack for the just-in-case moments is what we made this for.

  • 10,000mm Breathability
  • Durable 4-way stretch

Perfection in a Jacket

Fit is true to size. Not baggy at all, but not so slim that it is restrictive. It's definitely a full bore rain or cool weather coat, perfect for early morning bike park or shuttle laps, or those days when it's very PNW out. Venting is ample, and the construction is top notch in every way.

Fantastic jacket but be warned: the sizing is pretty tight.

Like everything else from Chromag, the quality is exceptional and the features all make sense. But also like everything else from Chromag, the sizing is pretty small. If you're like me and fit XL from every other brand, you might be able to squeeze into this jacket, but you're not going to be able to wear much under it, and certainly not elbow pads no matter how low profile they are. I'm a bigger guy, but by no means a monster, and I had to adjust my expectations for actually using this on colder/wet rides.

It's particularly tight in the biceps and chest, even for this guy with long arms but average proportions.

If Chromag is going to size things this small, perhaps XXL should be an option.

Took a gamble and happy

Wanted to add a review to me nion a couple things the write up doesn't.

The jacket does include two side pockets with water proof/resistant? zippers It also has pit zip vents.

Wanted to mention as it's not mentioned. I bought the jacket hoping it would have these, and it does.

Haven't tested out the jacket in a good rain yet, but so far maintains the same quality design and materials I keep coming back for.
