Customers praised these as excellent shoulder season gloves that balance warmth with breathability. They "grip well" on handlebars and offer good wind protection while staying thin enough for bike control. Most found them comfortable and warm in cool weather, though some noted narrow wrists and inconsistent finger length sizing.

awesome gloves

these gloves are awesome. I'm a kid so I got xs. They are warm, yet in warm weather they are still fine and not too hot. The outer material on the palm grips on the brake but is not too grabby. The fit on fingers is nice and long for an xs.

Need another pair!

I only wore em once and lost one! Well....I know where it is but it will be many months before I get back in there. What a dummy. Ordering another pair because these are the perfect mix of wind protection but still thin enough for great grip on the bars.

Nice

The wrists are a little narrow to pull on. Otherwise a great product and a great deal on sale. I bought two pair for myself and a friend! Thanks chromag.

Wife’s frown turned upside down

My wife hates gloves, but recognizes that in certain temperatures, it’s a necessity to prevent one’s hands from resembling frozen velociraptor claws. And so, despite her underlining resentment for fabric covering her hands, she has been all smiles on the cooler riding days with these appendage adornments. Thanks Chromag for saving us from discussing another topic in therapy!

Excellent cool weather gloves

These have been my go-to glove all fall. They are warm enough for cool days and comfortable to pedal up or shred down. My hands are always cold, but the breathability and thickness work (until it’s full winter). I also like the text-friendly finger tips so I don’t have to take them off on chilly days.

* disclosure: I ride for the Chromag grassroots team

Awesome Fall Glove!

I deal with cold hands and these have been treating me quite well during some chilly rainy rides here in Whistler. They are not waterproof, but feel fairly weather resistant and still provide warmth when wet. The fabric delivers excellent block from the wind and is a perfect amount of insulation to ride with while pedaling up and down in the rainy weather.

They run a bit larger than the other gloves I purchased from Chromag - but, after using them, I was quite happy with the fit.

Good weight to warmth ratio!

Happy with my Raven gloves so far! The fit is a bit looser than the rest of the chromag gloves but that seems to help circulation and actually keeps my hands a bit warmer than they normally would and I get really really cold hands. For their weight these actually provide good warmth. The material isn't fully waterproof but definitely cuts through the wind and water beads off them, so unless you're riding in a torrential downpour I've been pretty dry. All around pretty happy with these gloves, use them for ski touring as well.

cool and dry

This is the best cool and dry glove I own! Light precip OK but not great in heavy rain. I use these ski touring as well. Great gloves!

Finally it's not my fingers that give up first

A great fall riding glove that allows you to keep riding when those temperatures are dropping. I'd always just switched to gloves which I'd used for ski touring, so it was nice to have something designed with biking in mind and therefore allows you to keep that handlebar grip that I was used to with summer gloves.

Sizing seems good, I've brought XS since they weren't gender specific (in other brands for women I'd go with an S) and they fit really well without any bunching or slipping. The elastic cuffs are great for when putting on with cold hands.

I'd love to see a more padded or insulated glove to help with riding in depths of winter.

Great for fat biking in winter

I picked up a pair when they were first released and used them a lot. They are quite thin, which I like, and not super insulated. I can wear them exposed between -5C and 5C and stay pretty comfortable, though at 5C my hands are usually getting a bit sweaty. Down to -18C I throw some pogies on the bike and I'm plenty warm. I like the thinner gloves for operating the brakes/shifters vs a usual bulky winter glove or mitt. And the longer cuffs help keep blowing snow and wind from freezing my wrists. A pretty solid design overall.
I did have the stitching come out near the palm/thumb connection on one of the gloves, but Chromag replaced them promptly and I've been happy since. I think the stitching pulled out from pulling the gloves on and off since the cuff is long and comfortably snug. I started rolling the cuff up before taking the glove off and on and it seems to be a bit gentler on that area.

Seem solid but weird fit

I've only had these gloves for 3-4 rides so far, so unsure how long they'll last. The gloves are more robust than usual riding gloves, but they're more like an xc ski glove or something. Fit is weird. I have two other pairs of chromag gloves that fit me perfectly in size Large. But in these the palm fits great but the fingers are way too long. So I can't use a phone with them on. The ends of my fingers there is a solid 1-1.5cm of material bunching up. Doesn't really matter when riding but I have to take them off to use my phone, use a tool, etc. Sizing down and the palm is way too small.

They're not waterproof, your hands will be cold if you're riding in the rain or you crash into some mud. But they are fairly warm. I did a few rides with 1-2 degrees C and I was happy I had them vs regular riding gloves. The longer cuff up the forearm is nice and I kinda wish all gloves had this feature, even for summer riding.
